Okay, So What's the Sitch?
Well. I suggested that chapter 14 might be finished in two or three weeks, and that was … er, nearly two months ago. Clearly things haven't gone to plan.
Lots of things have gotten in the way. Holidays. Girlfriends. All kinds of stuff. But …
I've broken 80,000 words. And I'm working on the final scene of the story. It may turn out to be a longish scene (it deals with some final revelations and resolutions of the Iku story-line), but there you have it. Last scene, in progress.
(And, by the way, I'm probably looking forward to getting it over and done with, just as much as if not more than you're looking forward to reading it. I'm really tired of this chapter.)

And hooray for the Iku storyline being revealed at last.

Well, where the Iku story-line is concerned, I kind of showed my hand at the end of last chapter, so it was always going to come right out into the open this time. :)
Iku has caused me enormous problems, as a writer, ever since she was introduced (right back in the prelude), because where she's concerned, I've been building toward this chapter…
Aweeeesome! You know, a few of us were going over exactly what was up with Iku-- <.< We shall know, now. Or at least, know more. I am so excited, so very excited, you don't even know. And I love the new pic, by the way.
Re the picture: well, the big difference is that this one was actually taken by someone else, rather than using a camera on a 10-second timer, and so it isn't so obviously posed. :)
Yay!!! This is so exciting, especially since I started re-reading the story the other day.
I have to say, Crystal Fall gets me upset every time.
Iku continues to prove to be the biggest conundrum for me, so I'm looking forward to this new chapter!
I second the comment on how great the new pic looks!
I check often to see how things are going, and I'm always excited to see any kind of update. I'm going to be 30 in a week and I still squee whenever I find out that a chapter is just around the corner!

Oh my gosh, you have no idea how excited I am for this chapter! It's been almost four years since I first found your story and I'm still as excited as I ever was. I'm going to have to reread everything, and this is just one of those really amazing stories I will never get tired of reading. You have an amazing talent, and I hope it never becomes too much of a chore that you quit writing this story, or anything at all. Anyway, looking forward to it! :)
I really need to find time to go back and read all this again.

Hi.. I was rereading te story over and over again for the past 2 months or so.. and I was wondering if Sailor Neptune is going to apear in this chapter.. I am really curious as to what name Michiru has this time... Can't wait for her to appear and also for the Senshi to speak with Liam..
Oh well hoping for an update.. or maybe even a preview.. a small one... :D

I was watching Dark Angel this morning, and when one of the surveillance drones flew over my brain went "hey it's an Opal." And after a few minutes I remembered which sci-fi opals came from and thought I'd pop on here and say "hi".

Wow, anons, way to make the rest of us look bad with your impatience. I'd rather have it done right than done quickly, and besides, the beta readers have to go over it first.
So, I was secretly hoping for the chapter to be done around Christmas time as well and then I realized, Angus is not going to have time during Christmas to get this done! So, I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and I'm hoping you have time to finish up after the holidays. Thank you agian for all your hard work.

The wretched truth is that a single day's work -- even a solid afternoon -- would finish the chapter off. But finding the time to write lately is just very difficult.
