Yup, still alive. And writing again, more to the point.
Went through another long patch where I couldn't see any way forward. But I've made good progress in the last couple of weeks (now at 77,190 words, or 440K if you prefer), and I have to say that I'm getting real close to the end.
No promises, but let me say that if I can keep up the current rate, the chapter could be finished in two or three weeks. But don't quote me on that. :)

Well, lucky for me that I just finished rereading this then! Definitely looking forward to the next installment, and am very hopeful that at least some questions get answered. ;)

Just wanted to send some encouragement your way. I've been checking the website every few weeks or so for the new chapter. I hope writing is going well. (And other areas of your life not seen by your fans) I think sometimes it is difficult for readers to express their/our appreciation and sheer delight a story offers. Thank you again for all the hard work you put into your story. I truly do regard this as one of my favorites.
omigosh :D I'm so excited for the next chapter! I'm going to have to reread everything now. Just want to tell you how much I appreciate the fact you spend so much time writing this and making it good, instead of just the first thing that pops into your head...which is how so many other fanfics come across as. It's so refreshing, and it's the one thing that keeps me coming back to this one. I'm just dying to know how it ends! GAH! :P

When did I start? Um ... embarrassing answer. Looks to have been 30th November, 1997 -- or at least that's the creation date on the earliest version of the Prelude I've got.
Wow. 1997. Twelve years. That's something to think about. (Have I been wasting my life? Hmm.)
When I asked, I was wondering that very thing about myself. I've been following this story for... I want to say at least eight years. But you know what? It's that good. You are a genius of the word, man. A genius. This story is amazing, and complicated, and enticing. Beautiful. I will wait another eight years, or sixteen, or however many it takes to know what happens. You have ensnared my brain. I must know the end. :D

I agree with the person above.. I have been following this story for so many years and I don't consider them wasted.. not while waiting for a story like this.. I will also wait for as long as it takes.. I just love it so much!
Haha, I just found this last year....read it all in about a week or less...and fell in love with it, picturing how it would look animated in my head...I can't wait to see what happens next, keep up the amazing work Angus! <3
