So, yeah, not dead yet...
...But damn I'm not finding many opportunities to write.
Married life. Buying a house, being a landowner. Getting seriously involved in something which takes quite a lot of spare time (and also requires me to edit a quarterly magazine, and write big chunks of it as well). What with one thing and another, most of my spare time goes into, well, unwinding. I hardly even read fanfic any more, which is a shame because when I do get the chance, I'm finding some pretty good stuff.
But. Well. Now and then I do get a chance to crank some new words out. 23,647 words at last count.
It's still coming...

Can't wait! Still check every now and then for new chapter!
And curiously, in the days since I posted this, I've gotten some writing done every single day...
I still check back here every month or so, too. Glad RL is doing great for you and you are still able to squeeze in time to write sometimes!
I'm glad to see that RL is going well, at least! :D
Wow. I'm really happy that you're still interested in the FF, and congrats on a successful RL. I check fairly regularly here, hoping that there might be a little tidbit of information on progress, or whether you'll one day just throw in the towel and cut us all loose from your spell.
I have followed this FanFic from when the first chapter was uploaded (I've mentioned this in previous comments on your blog updates) and support your writing 110%.
Look forward to reading the next chapter :D
We trust you to finish eventually. Or at least to have a secret file with all your notes on the endgame to be published online after any unfortunate accidents or old age. :p
Hello! Your story is so much fun to read. Do you anticipate releasing the next chapter sometime this year?

I've been following Sailor Moon 4200 since nearly the beginning. Your story has truly stuck with me over the years but I completely understand how adulthood and its many distracting responsibilities slow down or even halt the creative process.
I check in every few years, as I am today, and while a little disappointed at finding no new additions to this epic story, I understand why. I hope you are well and finding other ways to be creative.
See you in a few years. ^_~
So it's been exactly nine years since I began following your fic. All that time I have been waiting patiently, checking in every six months and hoping to find the next chapter waiting to be read. But I get it. I was once a fanfic writer in my teens and I had to let that part of me go due to school, work and other personal stuff. Its really difficult to find the time and motivation to write a bit but I do write whether it is fanfic or not. So I understand there are things in life that just stumps everything. Still though just as long as I have been reading your fic, I have never given up to put my story out there.
SM 4200 had really been that story I've always wanted to read and it is inspirational. I hope that I will open up to a new chapter in the next six months but I don't want my words make you feel pushed to write (I hate it when someone forces me to rush through a process). So take your time and you still have your readers out there understanding that life just gets in the way.
Have a good year!
I've followed this fanfic longer than any other, probably nearly a decade now. I'd forgotten about it for a while, due to relocating halfway across the country (hello New England!), new job, new life away from my ex abuser
... A little disappointed there's nothing new yet, but hey, I can reread it all over again while I wait! I've forgotten a lot of the story, so we'll see what happens. Keep it up, Angus, you got this!
