A new update!
So...yes. I've been writing. About 4000 new words...
(Not dead yet!)
Centuries after the fall of Crystal Tokyo ... it is time for a new band of senshi to come together. Some of them are new faces; others are old faces, reborn yet again. But all of them are in trouble ... because the enemy that destroyed Crystal Tokyo is still out there. And it is waiting for them.

Good to know you're still on track - may I ask how much words you've got on the new chapters altogether now?
YAY!!! I can't wait!! :)
Thanks for letting us know! I'm so glad you are still writing. :)
It's great to hear from you.
I just read this article and thought of you: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-05-08/google-hackers-say-australian-buildings-at-risk/4677946
I can see Beth doing this for fun once they defeat the big bad and can pretend to have real lives again.
Har! Yes, nice.
I just heard about a big earthquake near Wellington. Are you OK?
Pretty big -- the strength was 6.5 -- but yeah, we're fine. We had a few things shaken off shelves, and cupboard doors flying open, but no actual damage, thank goodness.
Thanks for asking!
I've been reading this since I was about 15... I'm 27 now. I still check back a few times every year to see if this has been added to. Even though my life is busy with work and home and traveling. It's one of my biggest guilty pleasures. I sometimes find it ridiculous that I'm so stuck on and nostalgic for a single fanfic(sailor moon no less!). Whether it's been graduating, college, or marriage, this has been something I have never forgotten nor given up hope of its ultimate completion. Hope you remember how talented you are Angus, and how eagerly some of us are still waiting just to marvel at your vast imagination again and again.
You know how to make me feel guilty, don't you...?
You know, Angus, that guy manages to call on you, I kind of wonder how many fans have simply given up on SM4200 by now ...
Astonishingly, I am still working on it. ...Very occasionally, alas.
I've also been reading it since I was 16 and I'm 27 now. I actually check it every couple of month or so. By the way Angus all good with the quakes? Hope no damage happened in the Monday one. My friend in Paraparaumu had a few things falling off the walls but that was it.
All well thanks! But a scary moment...
Judging by fanfiction.net, SM 4200 counts 495,713 words. I've always thought that to be the longest fanfic out there. But it isn't. "These black eyes", a completed TeenTitans fanfic, counts more than 2 million words! To put that into perspective, "Moby Dick" has only about 212.000 words, and "Les Miserables" counts about 530.000 words.
Scary, eh? Where does one find time to write two million words of fanfic...?
Sorry, I certainly wasn't trying to make you feel guilty. I was going for inspired or energized... something more proactive. Though I am happy to see that you still check your blog! And that your are doing well amidst the natural disasters.
Kind regards,
Anonymous of January 15th
Ooh, interesting. Hadn't heard of it before now. (Hm, am I seriously out of touch?)
hey Angus. Any progress on the story? Hope you are well...
Another devoted fan of maybe a decade as well reporting in. This story actually reminds me of the Song of Fire and Ice series, just because of the sheer length and years of devotion that are put in by both the author and its fans. If there's ever an update, may it be a year or two or 10 from now, you always have fans waiting and appreciative. Thank you for your amazing mind Angus
hey Angus are you still alive? still writing? How's life been treating you?
Any updates, Angus? Just a little concerned Very long time fan here. :3 Thank you for all you've done.
