Still alive

In the immortal words of GLaDOS...I am, in fact, still alive.

And I haven't given up on SM4200.  Really.

Good to hear. I like to check back occasionally, so thank you for the post. I was actually just talking about Sailor Moon 4200 and that prompted me to check in again.

Hooray! Glad to hear that you're still in the land of the living! Sailor Moon 4200 has been, hands-down, my favorite piece of writing for going on a decade now and it's glad to know that I should still hold out hope for the next chapter! Happy Holidays and Hope you are having a wonderful life!!!

I sure hope so!

It's taken the past couple of months, but I finally got caught up in reading it. The apocalypse flashback sequence was some of the most effective nightmare-fuel I've ever read. All the new characters are unique and well-rounded, and it's great to see them wrestling with how to live up to the legacy. Dhiti and Bendis are my favorites. The worldbuilding in general is great, with so many levels. (How much do I love that the Church of Serenity couldn't get a clear read on Setsuna's identity, so they took their best guess and it was Haruna-sensei?)

Have you considered crossposting this? If you put it on the AO3 (archiveofourown.org), you could end up with a steady flow of likes to show that people are still discovering it and getting interested. Crosspost a new chapter every week until you're all caught up, and that'll give people a chance to read along together.

And if you do ultimately decide not to finish it, you've gotta put up some kind of "summary of the rest of the plot points" post. There are so many mysteries still open -- or, worse, where some of the characters already know the answer, but the rest of us haven't been let in on it. What is the Master, really? What is Iki, that she's not really Mars but was able to wield the Mars Power? Who is Emma and where did she come from? (My only vague theory is that "M" stands for Mercury....) Will we ever see a new Neptune, or a new/reborn Saturn? What's going on with Beth, anyway?

Long story short: this fic is great, and I really hope there's more to come.

I have been reading this story for quite some time, possibly since I was a teenager. I will always check for an update to see if you have posted. This is an amazing story, please continue, I appreciate your hard work and dedication. Many would have just stopped, its fantastic that you have continued throughout your life.

Glad you're still alive, cause I'm still stalking this fanfic. I check your blog every 3 or 4 months hoping to find a surprise upload of the latest chapter, as I've been doing since your first chapter.
I turned 30 this year and have been a fan since day 1.
Dont leave us all hanging, I believe you can finish this.

And as GLaDOS stated: We do what we must, because we can

I happened to think about sailor moon 4200 today after talking to someone else about formative fandoms, and I'm glad to see that you're still out here! Just thought I'd drop by to mention how much I've enjoyed your writing.

Haven't checked back in so long but glad I did today! Sailor Moon 4200 forever!

I'd like to second the request to maybe add this to AO3. That's become my primary fanfic site because of all the options it gives me. My favorite is the ability to download in my choice of mobi, epub, pdf or html. I long be able to download long multi chapter fics to put them on my tablet or e-reader and go read where ever I would like.

However to get back to why I'm here, I have been reading Sailor Moon 4200 either since Chapter 9 Crystal Fall was brand new or perhaps just before that. I plan to keep reading as long as you keep writing. I completely understand about offline life getting in the way of time to write, but if you could check in here a bit more often (maybe twice a year) that would be great.

How's it going Angus? Would love an update... or at least a wrap up of the fanfic and your dream of how it would have ended in it's completion. I know it goes without saying but 8 years without an update is a long time and many of us are still loving this.

So glad to hear you're still kicking! I've been checking for updates on the story, but forgot to check the blog... whoops! I know it's late, but I'm still excitedly looking forward to the next chapter! I may re-read the entire thing before the next one gets posted. (I read quickly, unfortunately. xD) Keep it up! Good luck!

There’s more, much more to Christmas
Than candlelight and cheer;
It’s the spirit of sweet friendship
That brightens all the year;
It’s thoughtfulness and kindness,
It’s hope reborn again,
For peace, for understanding,
For goodwill to men!

Merry christmas to you!

Hi Angus!

I will be turning 32 in July this year and I am hoping that you will grace us (read: me) with just a small morsel of an update... Either on your well being or this story would be great.
So many of us still love you and your work. I remember when one of my high school friends in our anime club introduced us to the first couple chapters back around '02 and we were SHOOK.
Rereading this fanfic sparks so much joy.

Until you cut us all loose, I will continue to drop a message on your blog once a year just to remind you of how much we miss this journey.

All the best,

I still check on this story, too. I'll never give up hope that you will someday be able to finish it. I've gone a decade before finally finishing a story before (though it isn't half so fabulous and definitely not at long as SM4200). So, I know you can do it. I too have been a fan from the first chapter. Your ideas are brilliant. Thank you for all you write!

Hey with all this pandemic stuff and the world going crazy... will we get an end to the story? In the spirit of things it probably has the most diverse group of sailor scouts we'll get anytime soon.

Hello from 2020, anyone else here who still haven't lost hope on an update, even 10 years later?
